COMMERCIAL CHARTER
"Redquarters" (reg. Name M.V. "Lara Star") is a 24.5m x 5.5m x 1.4m charter vessel and is based on a landing craft hull. She has been designed as a multi purpose vessel and can be chartered for many applications.
- Spear fishing, diving & filming with accommodation for up to 26
- Salvage: light salvage, mother ship for salvage, accommodation & supply for dive salvage
- Platform for film & TV work, documentaries, sports, diving etc
- Freight to local islands or isolated beaches & properties.
- Transport of goods, small vehicles, quads, m/bikes, generators etc.
- Access to shallow beaches & rivers for scientists, conservation groups, councils, contractors
- Fishing groups - mothership & security with accommodation to accompany kayaking, fishing or free dive clubs or bunch of friends with their own boats who would like to travel regions outside their normal safe area of operation - eg Auckland to Gt Barrier.
- Base & mothership for fishing/diving competitions.

Tonnage: 99.9 GRT / 69.7 NRT
Constructed: steel - 6 x watertight bulkheads
Engines: 2 x Caterpillar 330T 142 kw turbocharged marine diesels, keel cooling, dry stack exhaust
Generator Perkins 6.354 - 6 cyl turbocharged, keel cooled diesel engine coupled to a Dunlite 75 kva three phase 415v AC alternator.
Elec: 4 x 12v H/D lead acid, 4 x 12v H/D lead acid for radio & nave systems & standby - all new, 12v DC & 24v DC / 240v AC & 415v AC, inverter, 240v standby generator, 240v shore power,
Refrigeration: Bitzer 415v AC semi hermetic compressor and condensing equipment servicing the snap and freezer room. wracked blast freezer 3 cu/mtre , chiller/freezer 6 cu/mtre .
Deck Crane: Kandano 5 tonne hydraulic with 360 degree slew and telescopic jib
Tankage: Diesel 12,000 litres approx.
Water: 15,000 litres approx.
